Jonathan Maxson patented land in Freeport Township on 29 December 1818. The land was the southwest quarter of Section 19, Township 12, Range 7. He was the assignee of the executors of James Robinson, deceased. Jonathan Maxson's will, dated 26 February 1825, was probated 24 October 1825. His heirs were wife Mary and children David, Nathan, William, and Mary. Executors were David Maxson and John Calwalader. Witnesses were John Calwalader and Jacob Milleson.
